Tap III (Grades 6-10)

Tap III is geared towards students with a more advanced understanding of tap technique. Class time will be spent building a larger and more advanced repertoire of tap steps in both the “Broadway” and “Rhythm” style of tap. Students will work on linking those individual steps into different combinations, while fine tuning rhythm, musicality, and style.

Ages: Grades 10-12 or with faculty approval

Required Materials:  Form fitting athletic wear, any style tap shoe

Prerequisite: Tap II or faculty approval

Recommended Course Pairings: Ballet II or III, MT Dance II or III
