Tap II (Grades 6-10)

This course is designed for students with an intermediate understanding of tap technique. Class time will be spent building a larger and more advanced repertoire of tap steps in both the “Broadway” and “Rhythm” style of tap. Students will work on linking those individual steps into different combinations, while fine tuning rhythm, musicality, and style.

Ages: Grades 6-10 or with faculty approval

Required Materials: Form fitting athletic wear, any style tap shoe

Prerequisite: Tap I or faculty approval

Recommended Course Pairings: Ballet II or III, MT Dance II or III, Intro to MT or Broadway Workshop
