2026 Workshop Production

SPRING SHOWCASE

A unique, fully personalized cabaret experience designed to celebrate the talent, growth, and voices of our middle and high school students. This 90-minute showcase, performed on FTC’s StageOne, is built entirely around the performers who participate, featuring a curated mix of group numbers, small ensembles, duets, and solos tailored to each student’s strengths and vocal range. The final performance will also be filmed, giving students high-quality footage to use for social media and digital portfolios—an essential tool in today’s theater industry.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

WHAT

A 90 minute cabaret featuring solos, duets, small group and full ensemble numbers curated especially for the actors who participate. 

WHO

Actors in grades 6-12 are eligible. 5th graders may also register on a case to case basis- please email natalie@blackrocktheater.org if you have a 5th grader who is interested. You do not need to be a current BRT student to register. All students will be cast in this production.

WHERE

Rehearsals will take place at the BRT’s rehearsal studio and tech and shows will take place at FTC’s StageOne.

WHEN

Rehearsals begin April 3rd and we will have a performance on April 28th. A complete rehearsal schedule is included below.

PARTICIPATION FEE

There is a $415 participation fee which is due upon registration.
