Discover the craft of on-camera acting through weekly filmed scenes, playback, and professional coaching in TV and film technique. Middle and high school students will develop essential acting tools and apply them to monologues, scenes, and commercial copy while learning the fundamentals of on-camera work. Students will perform on camera and review playback to refine their choices and understand how their performances translate on screen. By the end of the course, students will have hands-on experience performing for the camera, a working knowledge of on-set professionalism, and confidence in their on-screen presence.

This class will be held in BRT’s rehearsal studio at 63 Unquowa Road.

Class Dates: 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26, 4/2, 4/9

Recommended Class Pairings: It is recommended that TV/ Film is paired with other Level 3 classes for middle school actors and other Level 4 classes for high school actors.

Required Materials: Notebook, folder, pencil.
