Welcome to the Rising Stars Workshop 1, where young talents in kindergarten through second grade embark on an exciting journey through the world of musical theater! In this engaging class, students not only learn the fundamentals of singing, acting, and stage presence but also develop valuable rehearsal and performance skills.
As the semester draws to a close, families and friends are invited to witness the culmination of their hard work—a dazzling cabaret performance featuring enchanting tunes from “Disney on Broadway.” Join us as these rising stars take center stage, capturing hearts with their talent, enthusiasm, and love for the performing arts!
Class Dates: 9/14, 9/ 21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23, 12/14, 1/5, 1/11 (Final performance on 1/11)
Recommended Class Pairings: It is recommended that Rising Stars Workshop 1 is paired with other Level 1 classes including Acting 1, Musical Theater 1, MT Dance/ Ballet 1 and/ or private voice.
Required materials: Comfortable clothes and shoes for movement, binder, pencil, highlighter.
Prerequisite: No experience necessary, but please note that this class required weekly practicing at home!
