Musical Theater II (Grades 7-10) Fall

This course is designed to teach teen actors how to effectively integrate acting, singing and dancing. Students will work on a variety of material touching all three elements of musical theater. Class is broken down between a 1 hr dance portion and a 1 hr acting/singing portion. Musical Theater II builds on the skills introduced in Musical Theater I. This class is a great choice for students who might consider the Conservatory program in the future.
Ages: Grades 7-10
Required Materials: Binder or folder, writing utensil, comfortable clothes for movement
Prerequisite: Intro to MT or faculty approval
Recommended Course Pairings: It is recommended that students in this class study private voice. Dance pairings include MT Dance/Ballet II and Tap I or II.
