Welcome to our Musical Theater Dance/Ballet class for kindergarten through second-grade students! Dive into the world of Broadway-inspired movement in a playful, developmentally appropriate environment. Children explore basic ballet, tap and jazz techniques while discovering the magic of Broadway music and choreography. Join us for a fun-filled journey where imagination and dance come together!
This class will be held at Black Rock Theater’s studio at 63 Unquowa Road in Fairfield.
Class Dates: 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/18, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/15, 4/1, 4/8, 4/22
Recommended Class Pairings: It is recommended that MT Dance/ Ballet 1 is paired with other Level 1 classes including Musical Theater I, Acting I and Rising Stars 1.
Required materials: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes and black jazz shoes (ballet skirts also acceptable) or white t-shirt, black pants/ shorts, black ballet shoes, black tap shoes and black jazz shoes.
Required materials: Comfortable clothes and shoes for movement.
Prerequisite: No experience necessary!
