Taught by BRT Executive Director Connor Deane, this class prepares middle and high school performers for musical theater auditions by building strong technical, artistic, and business foundations. Students will learn how to select and prepare audition material, communicate effectively with casting teams and live accompanists, and present themselves with professional etiquette—from attire and behavior to headshots and resumes. They’ll also explore how to build a repertoire book, market themselves, and understand the casting process, all while developing refined, polished auditions that stand out.
Through guided coaching and mock auditions, students will leave with the tools, confidence, and knowledge to walk into any audition room prepared, professional, and ready to shine.
This class will be held in BRT’s rehearsal studio at 63 Unquowa Road.
Tuesdays 4:30-5:55
