Acting 3 is tailored for students in grades 6-8 and emphasizes scene study, character development, and improvisation techniques, combining elements from live theater and TV/ film. Students refine their abilities in acting, which serves as the basis of musical theater and cornerstone for all performance disciplines. They develop confidence in stage presence and emotional expression, preparing for auditions and live performances. Join us for a transformative experience where passion, technique, and creativity converge to nurture versatile performers ready to shine on stage and beyond.
This class will be held in the Loft of Fairfield Theatre Company with an entrance on Unquowa Road.
Class Dates: 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26, 4/2, 4/9, 4/23
Recommended Class Pairings: It is recommended that Acting 3 is paired with Musical Theater 3, MT Dance/ Ballet 3, Tap 3 and private voice.
Required Materials: Comfortable clothes for movement, notebook, folder, pencil.
