Musical Theater 3 advances upon the foundational acting and singing skills established in Musical Theater 2, focusing on refining techniques and fostering confidence in performance. Students explore a diverse range of material, gaining autonomy in selecting pieces that resonate with their individual style and strengths. Emphasis is placed on deepening audition strategies and honing the ability to interpret characters authentically within the context of musical theater performance.
This class will be held at the Loft at Fairfield Theatre Company with an entrance on Unquowa Road.
Class Dates: 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24, 3/31, 4/7, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5
Recommended Class Pairings: It is strongly recommended that students in Musical Theater 3 take MT Dance/ Ballet 3 as well as private voice lessons. Acting 3 and Tap 3 are also recommended.
Required Materials: Comfortable clothing for movement, pencil, binder and sheet protector and access to a printer for music or rep book.
