Welcome to Musical Theater Dance/Ballet II, where young performers in grades 3-5 embark on an exciting journey into the heart of Broadway-inspired dance and ballet. Building on foundational skills, this class focuses on developing technique essential for budding musical theater stars. Through structured lessons and creative exploration, students refine their ballet technique while delving into the expressive world of Broadway choreography. Join us for a dynamic experience where passion meets precision, preparing our young talents for the spotlight with every graceful step and spirited leap!
This class will take place in Black Rock Theater’s studio at 63 Unquowa Road, Fairfield.
Class Dates: 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/18, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/15, 4/1, 4/8, 4/22
Recommended Class Pairings: It is recommended that MT Dance/ Ballet 2 is paired with Musical Theater 2, Acting 2, Rising Stars Workshop 2, Tap 1 and/or private voice lessons.
Required materials: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes and black jazz shoes (ballet skirts also acceptable) or white t-shirt, black pants/ shorts, black ballet shoes and black jazz shoes.
Prerequisite: No experience necessary! Basic experience welcomed.
